Details:

This show includes hands on demonstrations and a short segment about railroad history and safety. Purchase the entertainment show and get free unlimited rides on the railcars during the event.

TRACK: Approximately 100 feet of track. Need 30 feet by 40 feet of level, flat ground. (7.5” between rails, aluminum rails on steel ties)

TRAINS: Each party comes with 2 separate hand-powered train cars that are pedaled around a portable track layout. Designed for AGES 3 TO 10 – but will hold any age up to approximately 180 pounds. Since they are hand-powered, they are difficult to reach speeds over 4 miles per hour.

SET UP: Needs 30 feet by 40 feet of level, flat ground. We need access to the site for set-up at least 1 hour in advance and for up to an hour for take-down.

PRE-PARTY RECOMMENDATIONS: For everyone’s enjoyment, we recommend that the train area be free from fire ants, or pet waste. If many children are going to be present, you may consider extra adult chaperones for safety. Guests should be asked to wear closed toed shoes only and have long hair pulled back for safety. Long dresses or other long clothing should also be avoided.
